Hello peeps (that's mid-west slang for dear friends and special people!)
Bob and I are glad to be back in South Florida after a 16 day stay in Indianapolis. This was not a planned stay but it came about because of multiple medical concerns that popped up on my routine exams. An abnormal reading on a mammogram, abnormally high blood pressure, upper respiratory and sinus infection, in other words I was a MESS! My own diagnosis was I was either allergic to Bob or Florida. Fortunately I'm not a doctor and was way off base on both of those. Finding the different specialists to look at all of this things where we live now was too daunting and time consuming a task so I elected to purchase an airline ticket and return to the network of wonderful care specialists I had in Indy. The bottom line to the story is...I'm fine. Minor surgery to remove pre-cancerous tissue, daily meds to keep the BP under control and now we're back! It was wonderful to meet Matt and Janie for a late snack the night we flew in. It was so fun to run into Mike Ruiz and his date at the restaurant where we stopped and oh my...the hugs and smiles of affection we felt when we joined the "family" in worship on Sunday was overwhelming. I was so blessed to have two church families praying for me and your prayers were powerful. Thank you TPCC (Traders Point Christian Church) and thank you TPCC (The Pursuit Christian Church). Bob and I love our family here in SoFlo and are thrilled to be back worshipping beside you, sharing God's love with all whom we come in contact. The Pursuit church is real and genuine, loving and outreach minded. How blessed we are to be here at this time, doing His will!
Basking In His Care,
Love Linda and Bob
