FULL CIRCLE

God certainly has a sense of humor!  Just look in the mirror - that's got to make Him laugh.

Seriously, Dave & Sharon Johnson, an Elder at the Traders Point Church where I served as Missions Pastor, decided to move to Connecticut to start a church.  Traders Point got behind them -we sent teams of people there to  help them get started, prayed for them, I served on the Management Team, and supported them financially. They even named the church Colonial Point after the planting church.

Johnson_treeYesterday, we picked them up at the Miami Airport, had lunch, and then dropped them off at the Carnival Cruise line.  Here they are under a huge banyan tree at Bayside Market.  They are taking a cruise to celebrate their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.  YEA!!!  We plan to spend some more time with them on Friday when they get back.

Guess what?  Now Colonial Point supports Linda and I as we help start The Pursuit Christian Church (TPCC - get the connection?) We've come full circle.  Our daughter church helps plant another daughter church.

Dave and Sharon are dear friends and it was good to catch up and "laugh out loud" about how God works.

It's so awesome to see how God works!

I missed them this year in Mexico, but I was blessed with the opportunity to serve with their three boys again. What an awesome family.
