As The Pursuit staff meeting wrapped up today, I checked my email and came across this from my friend, Sarah. I read it out loud to the rest of staff:
"I have been reading about your church plant every week. I wanted to say that what you and Matt, Alex, and Erin are doing is amazing! I hope that one summer I can come down and visit you guys! I continually pray for all of you and I LOVE to tell my friends what you guys are doing! . . . I enjoy hearing what else God is going to do through all of you guys!"
What amazingly comforting words for our tired ears to hear in the "heat" of church planting in Miami.
Sarah shows love like Jesus more than most people I know. She's smart, faithful, strong and an amazing example for me and many other women . . . despite the fact that she's only old enough to have gotten her driver's license this summer. :)
