So between MinistryCom and JD, I'm really getting the idea that technology can ENHANCE instead of INFRINGE UPON relationships.
I experienced this personally this week:
1. Dreadfully missing my man (my stay in Louisville extended 5 extra days due to Popper's adventures in the hospital), we got to iChat yesterday. Couldn't believe how much good it did me to be able to see his face . . . and to see Jeter devour his new eco-friendly toy.
2. My parents have not been separated much in their 50+ years of marriage. Dad has been in the hospital since Friday; mom doesn't get out so she hasn't been able to see him. So we loaded this little "I love you" message on to the MacBook Pro, and I took it for dad to see from his hospital bed. Even though my mom refuses to let her face be shown on any camera, she sure appreciated the fact that this technology could help her connect with her man!

Technical note . . . I know there's a way to show this video directly on this post. But the techies will have to tell me how.
That's about the sweetest thing I've ever seen. Next time put a kleenex warning on things like that! :)
