I am tired of being an uninformed voter. When I go to the poll, I often feel like I am casting a ballot for someone else. I am not voting for Obama because it's trendy. I am not voting for McCain because it's safe. My decision in November will be because I have heard from all sides and have viewed them through a Biblical lens.
That being said I don't have hours each day to pour through all the junk. That's why I love Real Clear Politics. It's become my daily one-stop-shop for info regarding the upcoming election.
I am kicking around the idea of preaching a two week series at The Pursuit on October 26 - November 2 and calling it "Jesus at the Polls" or something like that. Obviously, we would never endorse a candidate but instead take a look at the issues that come to the forefront in this election and look to what the Bible says about them.
